Live-In Care

Home is often your Sanctuary, a place full of you and your life. Be it your books, paintings on the walls, favourite chair and so many precious memories, the thought of leaving can be worrying, particularly when faced with reduced independence and perhaps the belief that nursing or residential home admission is your only option.

With Proud To Care Live-In service, a Care and Support Worker can move into your home with you to provide a very personal and tailored service, supporting you to remain independent in the comfort of your own home.

Whether you have complex needs or just require some support in doing everyday tasks, our live-in care service affords you and your family and friends peace of mind, knowing that you are benefiting from the expert care of highly skilled Care and Support Workers, in the place where you feel most at ease.

Care homes are the right choice for some people; others see the live-in care service as a flexible alternative accommodating your daily routines and specific needs.

We understand that having someone share your home can be a very personal matter. For this reason, we take extra care to match our staff considerately with you and your situation. We take time to ensure all of our live-in care staff are fully informed of your expectations and personal preferences.

Why Choose Live-In Care? - Our live-in care service offers you the opportunity to carry on living your life in the way you want to and where you want to. It enables you the flexibility you deserve, from simple things such as choosing your meals, or watch your favourite programmes on television, through to having the freedom to be active each day deciding when you want to go out knowing there is someone there to support your Care and Support requirements.

Sometimes the stability of staying in familiar surroundings can give you an extra boost. The benefits are immense allowing someone to retain their individuality and independence throughout illness should not be overlooked; this is particularly true for dementia conditions where maintaining continuity and familiarity of routine is especially important.

There are many ways in which our live-in care service can benefit you:

  • Enables you to remain in your own home living your chosen lifestyle
  • Comparable cost to many care homes
  • Provides you with greater flexibility and personalisation  with one to one care
  • Continuity of care from a small number of Carers, chosen to match your requirements
  • Available on a short or long-term basis, often at very short notice.

Continuity of care is one of the key strengths of our live-in service. We look to minimise the number of Care Workers aligned to each client. As part of our live-in care service, we will provide you with two, and in some cases three, suitable Care Workers to work on a rota basis. We believe that keeping the number of Care Workers to a minimum within a care package helps you to build stronger relationships, often resulting in a higher quality of care.

What Next - In order to provide you with a Live-in Service which matches your requirements exactly, we will arrange for a member of our Team to visit you and carry out a full assessment of your individual circumstances and needs. Following this visit, we will provide you with a fully costed proposal for your care package.
